Light Festival in Ghent

The exhibit consisted of three different parts. I was the curator for the Dungeon. The unique architectural elements inspired me to distribute the work according to how the light was reflected on the wall and ceiling surfaces. With this section of the exhibition, I wanted to bring the theatrical aspects, taking what was originally there and transforming it with my vision of what the experience of the space should be.

ID'X | Dutch Design Week Exhibit

Interactive Exhibition: While working at the Department of Industrial Design, I had the opportunity to be part of three exhibits. This is ID’X: the annual graduation exhibit of the Department during the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven for which I was the Design Director for 2 years in a row. In this role I designed the overall concept and graphics and lead a team of over 50 people in the production.

As an experience and interaction designer, exhibits are a great venue to consider an entire concept as an experience in which all of the small parts and details must come together as one, according to the vision and identity established. The main challenge was to create the entire exhibit as one coherent package where the graphics, printed material, publication, layout, communication, strategy, promotion and presentation of the works would make sense together.
